Pavlekeni

We finlly made it to camp about 5 days late. My poor car was not meant for such travels. But the little wooden Egg seems to skip over the hot bumpy roads and so it became our home in the Nomadic Village.

and with the addition of an awning provided by the Tadlachance we felt right at home

the beautiful Danube

I think that the crossing marked a new part of our journey. We finally made it to Bulgaria. the sound of the Barge where insane screeching as the large trucks performed tight and impressive manovours to fit on the little boat and then the quiet as it moved across to Bulgaria as the sunset..

so well this is all a little late as we are back home in Newcastle. But here are some more caravan pics for your eys

We finally left Craiova and took a twilight crossing of the Danube. Beautiful and surreal surrounded by huge trucks on a barge. We got to Bulgaria with still a long way to drive, but we felt more upbeat and despite a having to search for money to get through customs 9 thankfully Maz had Dollars to change.. pounds are useless!!!

we finally hit good roads and made good time.

Going South

Craiova or bust

Lovely travels and times in Prague.
Made good progress, but much slowed by ROmania, which has taken its toll on the car. Which is now in the Opel Garage in Craiova... Bulgaria is so close and so far at the same time!

Still it has made a nice change and we are all showered and rested.

hopefull should get back on the road again today.!

This strange landscape that has been created from the spoils of industrial Weardale .
It reminds me of childrens drawings of mountains.
